An Insight on Beauty

eauty. Some say beauty is when you find pleasure just by looking at it. Its what your eyes and mind could not resist looking or admiring. But I say beauty is more than that. It is captivating though. Its as if every breath and every moment exists solely to witness one's beauty.. may it be beauty of the heart or of appearance. So enchanting it is that it can drive your mind to madness. But beauty is as it is. It needs no enhancement, because it will always be beautiful. No matter what season or what angle, beauty will always be beauty.

Beauty, just like almost everything else, is derived from perspective. What can be beautiful to me can be unacceptable to others. Beauty is constant. It has a pattern of consistency. Art can be beautiful even if its just a mesh of colors because beauty thrives in one's perception. God finds all his creations beautiful. Even the things that we hate the most can be beautiful, you just have to look at it from a different point of view. A normal day of work and school can be as beautiful as your birthday. An old woman can be beautiful. A bird who doesn't know how to fly can be beautiful. A dead tree bark can be as beautiful as a sappling of a Gondorian White Tree. History can be as dark as it can get but still be beautiful. For the secret of beauty is this: Everything has been made beautiful, you just have to know were to look or what to look for. Do not be fooled by your senses or emotions. Senses can be sharp but they may also dull your heart. Emotions may tell you whats wrong but it can also mislead you if you depend on it. Look at everything, every moment, every experience from God's point of view and you will see the difference. You'll find everything is beautiful. And you'll also find that the absence of beauty is not amusing at all.
