The Lost-Hidden Truth

A poem dedicated to the Lord of Truth.

hat man should be a leper before the Lord
True to the judgment with all fury and discord
The curse and abomination, man has brought
To his kind, race, sons who have not sought
Neither holiness pure nor things divine
For man, depraved, is far from Thine
Man has no hope, nothing but judgment in his path
A Saviour is needed to take all of God's wrath
But, oh so hidden, now rarely preached
The exact meaning of the Cross, seldom teach
Lost in the ocean, what meaning is there?
If Christ is mere medicine, and no one cares
Experience have replaced Biblical notions
Reducing theology to bits of illustrations
The truth exact is now but a whisper
Hidden in cloak none would uncover
Should anyone remove and the world will scowl
They want the radiance covered in bowl
And then they exclaim, why no fire?
They shout and blame, where is Sire?
They cry and pinch, why so dire?
You made a false one, you'll be in fire
Come back, you who do not know
Fall flat in worship, as the lowest of the low
So that God may lift and overwhelm
Thy black soul to Thine Spirit's realm
Speak boldly of the truth, His most holy grace!
Anything less is a slap in the face
Be driven by Him, His vision is yours
love of His loves, come to the Source
And all then will hear and confess one thing
That Jesus is Lord.. That Jesus is Lord!
